Hello! My name is Desiree Koski, and I am very excited to be teaching 7th grade Science, here at Maricopa Wells Middle School. I have lived in Maricopa for two years and am enjoying seeing the growth that this community is undergoing. Before coming to Maricopa, I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Microbiology at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. During my time as an undergraduate, I participated in several field studies, the most exciting being an ecological study along the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon. During this time, I realized that I truly had a passion and desire to teach science.
After I graduated, I spent time raising my two beautiful daughters and continuing my education. I am currently taking my final courses to receive my Masters in Secondary Education degree with Northern Arizona University.
This year should prove to be an exciting year for all students as well as myself. I invite all parents to come and participate within our classroom and experience our wonderful learning environment. .
